About the Event

Many studies have established that the gut microbiota plays a central role in host homoeostasis and immune response, specifically in Th17 cells, which have been implicated in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. Further research needs to be done on the role of the gut microbiome, but this is a workshop to explore the research and the implications in terms of diet and lifestyle intervention for psoriasis.
